Aaron was born and raised in the Twin Cities, graduating from Hamline University. Aaron graduated with a Psychology and Film degree which was the school’s first Film major/minor degree given in it’s long history. After working on several independent film/video projects, acting school, and the Fringe festival, Aaron found himself a home at Twin Cities Public Television (TPT). Working at TPT for close to four years, before moving onto creating and consulting on media projects, producing auditions reels for television and film productions, being a Youth Intern Coordinator & mentor at SPNN, and judging for independent film festivals. He is currently working with CTV North Suburban Access and developing his media company Side/Projects.

Producer & Editor
Tequila Digital Media offers video production, post production, and consultation services targeted to small to medium sized businesses, non profit organizations, plus independent filmmakers and producers. Some of TDM’s products include promotional videos, commercials/PSAs, web videos, DVD Authoring and much more. In addition, TDM has proven experience with Spanish-speaking and other culturally diverse content and organizations.


Producer & Host
Joanna is the creator of Kohler Productions, a multimedia company that produces video content focused on community storytelling and advises on strategies to facilitate community voices in the telling of their own stories. In addition to these skills, Joanna has over 18 years of experience in documentary filmmaking, youth work and youth media education, including her previous position as the Coordinator for the Twin Cities Youth Media Network. Experience Joanna is an award winning filmmaker receiving multiple Jerome Foundation grants, directed three independent films, completed training with the Institute for Cultural Affairs – participatory facilitation, New Mexico’s Media Literacy Institute and been a Fellow with the Creative Community and Leadership Institute supported by both the Bush Foundation and Intermedia Arts. Joanna’s education includes a B.A. in Social Documentary from the University of Minnesota and some graduate courses in Public Affairs from the Humphrey Institute. In addition, Joanna has worked with many community initiatives as both a strategist and producer and served as a chair on the Board of Director’s with SPNN and a Communications Committee member with Minnesota Women in Film and Television.



Producer
Mariko graduated with a Film Production and Theory degree from Vassar College and since then, has worked with documentary and narrative filmmakers to develop and create content. Her involvement has ranged from working in a rental house to editing to assistant directing to producing, both for projects of her own and otherwise. She currently works at the film production company Werc Werk Works.
